Terms and Conditions
In this document, "Program" means the employment of Southbank Institute students provided by the State of Queensland through the Southbank Institute of TAFE Student Employment Service ("Institute")
It is your responsibility to assess and determine the suitability of any student/s of the State of Queensland acting through the Southbank Institute of TAFE ("the Student") as the Institute has not undertaken an assessment of the suitability of the Students to whom you may be referred to or who are referred to you.
The Institute is not a party to any agreement or arrangement between you and any Student who is referred to you or who you are referred to, and is not responsible for any loss, damage, expense, cost, or injury incurred by you as a result of any such agreement or arrangement with a Student or any unlawful or negligent act or omission of a Student.
Any engagement of a Student pursuant to the Program is at your own risk and you agree that you will not make any claim against the State of Queensland, Southbank Institute of TAFE, Student Employment Service, or its servants or agents for any personal injury, loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage, and loss of profits or opportunity), however caused (including negligent or unlawful acts or omissions), arising out of any such engagement.
By participating in the Program, you agree that you will release and discharge State of Queensland, Southbank Institute of TAFE, Student Employment Service, and its servants and agents from any claim, proceeding, demand or action that might be made on them by You.
By participating in the Program, you agree that you will indemnify the State of Queensland, Southbank Institute of TAFE, Student Employment Service, and its servants and agents against all actions, proceedings, claims and demands which may be brought or made against any of them by any person arising from your unlawful or negligent acts or omissions.
