Terms and Conditions of Program
In this document, "Program" means all the services; resume advice,interview techniques, job referrals and general job seeking advice; provided by the State of Queensland through the Southbank Institute of TAFE Student Employment Service ("Institute").
It is the responsibly of the student to make his or her own assessmentand decision about the suitability of and participation in possible employment opportunities with any external employers/persons through the Program as the Institute has not undertaken an assessment of the suitability of such parties to whom the student may be referred to or who are referred to the student.
The Institute is not a party to any agreement between student and external employers/persons whom the student is referred to or who are referred to student, and is not responsible for any loss, damage, expense,cost, or injury incurred by student as a result of any such agreement or arrangement with external employers/persons.
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure the external employers/persons have relevant insurance and comply with relevant laws.
Any involvement in employment opportunities through the Program is at the student's own risk and the student must not make any claim against the State of Queensland, Southbank Institute of TAFE, Student Employment Service, or its servants a nd agents for any personal injury, loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage, and loss of profits or opportunity), however caused (including negligence), arising out of the student's participation in the program.
The student releases and discharges the State of Queensland, Southbank Institute of TAFE, Student Employment Service, and its servants and agents from any claim or action that might be made on them by the student arising out of the Program.
